About you and the role

You will be the first full-time accounting hire, partnering with the VP of Finance to build a bullet proof accounting stack. Expect to roll up your sleeves while designing the policies, processes, and systems that will carry us through Series C.

What you will do

• Procure‑to‑Pay: Own AP, cards, and reimbursements; manage spend with data‑driven controls.
• Order‑to‑Cash: Nail ASC 606, deliver timely invoices, drive collections, and automate dunning.
• Close & Reporting: Hit a 5‑day close—spot‑on accruals and reconciliations, and sharp variance analysis
• Payroll & Commissions: Partner with RevOps on commissions and run flawless payroll via Rippling.
• Tax & Compliance: Orchestrate income tax, sales tax, R&D credit filings; stay ahead of new jurisdiction rules.
• Entity & FX: Balance multi‑entity ledgers, clear inter-company noise, and manage currency translation.
• Systems & Automation: Adopt Omni and other powerful tools to streamline every finance workflow.

About you

• Have 6‑10 years progressive GL / revenue accounting experience in high‑growth B2B SaaS
• Owned ASC 606 policies and commission accounting
• Run multi‑entity, multi‑currency consolidations and intercompany eliminations
• Fluent in modern FinOps stacks (e.g. Rillet, Rippling, Ramp)
• A builder mindset, comfortable in 0→1 environments and passionate about automation and data
• Nice to have: SQL or BI skills
