About the Role

As Omni’s first Solutions Architect, you will be responsible for the post-sales technical success of Omni customers, starting with their initial onboarding, and continuing throughout the customer lifecycle. You will work with companies across all different industries, regions, and sizes. 

We take pride in providing a best-in-industry customer experience, and in this role you will serve as an advocate for our customer base, proactively identify issues and product gaps impacting Omni customers and work with them and our internal teams to address them. You will constantly be learning and discovering new use cases and needs, and you will directly shape product direction as you share experiences and feedback from the field.

You will:

  • Serve as a deep technical expert on Omni both internally and externally, solving our customers’ most challenging data problems.
  • Own the design of our customer onboarding process and guide customers through it, ensuring smooth hand-offs from the Sales/POC process into production.
  • Define and document best practices and design patterns for the use of Omni, and evangelize these among Omni employees, partners, and customers.
  • Develop training programs for technical and non-technical users, and run these for our customers.
  • Work with our Alliances team to Support Omni’s partner network, through training and advanced technical support. 
  • Collaborate extensively with Product, Design, and Engineering to provide user feedback, and guide product direction based on your experience with Omni customers.
  • Create delightful experiences for our customers. Build trust-filled advisory relationships, and find ways to make data teams more successful. 

About you

  • 4+ years experience working in data analytics and/or customer-facing roles
  • Experience in BI tools with a semantic layer (such as Omni or Looker)
  • Strong SQL skills
  • Passionate about working with data
  • Love learning, and enthusiastic about teaching others

This role is located with the team in our San Francisco headquarters, 3 days per week.
